Why GrowthSync keeps publishing behind approval

Autopublish is attractive in a demo, but most launch teams need control before speed. GrowthSync defaults to approval gates.

Notes from the team building GrowthSync's planning, draft review, and approval-gated publishing workflow.

AI content becomes risky when generation, approval, and publishing collapse into one invisible step. A founder needs to know what changed, why it is ready, and what could still break trust.

GrowthSync uses readable gates instead of machine-style statuses. A draft can be ready, need a fix, or be blocked. The technical details still exist, but the primary decision stays simple.

This matters most when CMS publishing is connected. A draft should not reach a public website just because a queue ran successfully. It should reach the website because the draft was reviewed and approved.

The default launch posture is draft-only and approval-first. Teams can connect publishing when the workflow is stable, but the product should not pressure new users into unsafe automation.
